J-STD-002/003 Solderability Testing

This 1 day lecture course utilizes the J-STD-002, Solderability Tests for Component Leads, Terminations, Lugs, Terminals and Wires and, J-STD-003, Solderability Tests for Printed Boards, specification as the texts for the program. The program discusses the interpretation of the solderability tests and provides information on the types of test methods used to measure solderability of components and printed boards. The course also discusses defect definitions, acceptance criteria and provided illustrations for assessing the solderability of the components and printed boards. The program was developed to provide enhancement and supplementary information to increase the knowledge and skills of people who are using the IPC documents for manufacturing and process controls.
