Fiber Optic Connector Terminations and Cleaning is a 4-hour course. Through discussion and demonstration, students will gain knowledge and skills required for assembly of fiber optic components. Students learn the basics of fiber optic connector assembly and performance associated with connector polishing procedures. Students will also learn and practice how to properly clean and inspect connector end faces for dirt and manufacturing defects.
