It was a busy week at the 2012 IPC APEX Expo which was held at the San Diego Convention Center February 28th through March 1st. Hundreds of companies exhibited at the electronics manufacturing mega show which drew a global audience of industry professionals who exhibited products and services, attended workshops and IPC conferences and caught a glimpse of the dozens of new products offered by some of the industry’s best known brands as well as many regional players.
John Tickle, MIT, Helena Pasquito, MIT, Leo Lambert, V.P. & Technical Director and I were at the event representing EPTAC on the floor and at the various IPC committee meetings held during the week.
Industry guru and EPTAC’s senior consultant Leo Lambert once again participated as a judge in the highly anticipated hand soldering competition. See Leo’s blog here:
We received numerous compliments from our existing customers, and even from our competition, regarding EPTAC’s sleek new look including our new educational movie and redesigned marketing materials. Customers were particularly impressed with our new website and its greatly improved functionality.
For our 25th anniversary, EPTAC has re-branded, introducing new corporate colors and a re-enforced message to our customers. We’ve also launched a new website at www.eptac.com giving customers easy access to all of the company’s training and certification offerings, free webinars and expert advice from the best in the business.
Overall, the IPC’s APEX show traffic was tremendous and our booth staff was very active speaking with prospective customers, networking and distributing our information. Thank you to all who stopped by to chat with us. We look forward t working with you in the future.
