Once again, EPTAC’s very own, Leo Lambert, Vice President and Technical Director and Helena Pasquito, Senior MIT Instructor, will be judging the competitive field in the Hand Soldering Competition at this year’s IPC APEX EXPO in Las Vegas, Nevada.
This competition, starting from a simple beginning several years ago, has become one of the most well attended and anticipated events coordinated by the IPC at the EXPO. Candidates come from all around to test their skills and talents against some of the best and brightest electronic assemblers in the industry today.
A tentative schedule for the event is as follows:
- Regional Competition Rounds 1-4 , from 1-4pm
Wednesday, March 26, 2014
- Regional Competition Rounds 5-8, from 1-4pm
- International Competition Round 1, from 5-6pm
Thursday, March 27th, 2014
- International Competition Rounds 2-4, from 9:00am – 12:30pm.
